This week has been pretty dang awesome! We've been seeing so much
success lately its been such a blessing.
Something thats been really cool is we've been trying so hard to work
with the members better here. We started a new thing where were doing
service for a hour for a different member everyday. We just show up at
people's houses and saw okay were here to work what do you want us to
do haha. I love it! We're really deepening the relationship between
the members and the missionaries its been great.
We also have been having so many prepared people come out of nowhere.
Last Sunday there was this girl who bore her testimony and i didn't
think anything of it. We were out trying potentials and we talked to
this lady and shes like ya my daughter goes to your church she just
asked me the other day if she could get baptized. I was hold up wait
what!? Haha. Well I guess that girl who bore her testimony lives in
our area and isn't a member, but wants to get baptized. I was like
what the crap why haven't we been teaching her lol. Well we found out
where she lives and we started teaching her. She's so prepared and is
going to get baptized in a few weeks. So thats awesome!
We are having a baptism this Saturday and I'm so excited for it. Its
going to be the first one of this area. We're baptizing Paula and I'm
so excited for her! She's super awesome and its been so cool to see
her change and how much happier she has become!
So a crazy story that happened this week was i cast out some spirits
that was pretty dang legit. A girlfriend of a less active in our area
Facebook messaged me and said she wants to come to church and they
will need a ride and that they need their house to be blessed. So i
was like of course. Well we go on splits and me and this 16 year old
kid go over there and i guess there was spirits there. I started to
dedicate the house and then the spirit told me to stand up and cast
the spirits out and i was like that's probably just me and then it
came again so i stood up and cast them out it was sweet! The spirit
was so strong after its so cool!
Im loving the work and i love training! Its so awesome to watch Elder
Lamb learn and grow. Its really helped me out as a missionary as well!
Love you all! hope y'all have a blessed week!

Real Friends, How Many of Us?
This week has been interesting to say the least. I definitely hope I never have a week like this again for the rest of the mission. I've learned a lot about our mission as a whole, and about how things run.
I've wondered my entire mission why things as a whole aren't where our goals are. We've had months where we pushed so hard for every companionship to baptize and our entire mission fasted for it. We had more baptisms then this mission has ever had since president Brough has been here. It's never felt like it was where we should be though. I think I finally found the reason why or at least something that is attributing to us not reaching our potential as a mission. The biggest thing that I've found out this week is it's just basically the hunger games out here. It's basically every companionship for themselves. I guess in order to change something you need to first find the problem so that's good we found it haha. So that's been really disappointing for me, but it's all just a learning experience.
I guess I should put something nice in this so the biggest blessing has been working with elder Lamoreaux, elder Haws, and elder Muir. I'm learning so much from each of them in different ways. I love working with them and it's been a blast. They really make the work worth it.
One really cool things from this week, is doctor Barrett who has been my doctor since the womb his family lives out here. And this week we met them! What a small world it was crazy! We started to teach his nephew who is my age and he is doing so good. It was so cool.
I hope everyone has a great week! Love you all! Thank you for all of the love and support. It really carries me through, so it means the world to me.
Much love,
Elder Taeoalii
